Groundbreaking Ceremony Held at Mansfield Stadium

The City of Mansfield, REV Entertainment, and North Texas Soccer Club, the MLS NEXT Pro affiliate of FC Dallas, held a groundbreaking ceremony for Mansfield Stadium, a multi-use soccer stadium complex that is expected to open in the summer of 2026. North Texas SC will play their home games at Mansfield Stadium beginning in 2026.
The event featured remarks from Michael Evans (City of Mansfield Mayor), Clark Hunt (FC Dallas Chairman and CEO), Dan Hunt (FC Dallas President), Charles Altchek (MLS NEXT Pro President), and Sean Decker (REV Entertainment President).
This week, it was announced that North Texas Soccer Club, the reigning 2024 MLS NEXT Pro champions, will play their home games at Mansfield Stadium as the venue’s primary tenant beginning in 2026.
The 200,000 square foot venue, with a capacity of 7,000+ fixed seats, will feature four locker rooms, suites and loges, and a club space. Perkins&Will is serving as the design architect on the project, and Moss & Associates Construction is serving as the contractor. REV Entertainment and FC Dallas will serve as design and construction consultants throughout the project.
